This video gives new students information on why attending a New Student Orientation is important.

New Student Orientation (NSO) is designed to inform incoming students about the EMCC campus, available resources, faculty and staff expectations, opportunities offered, and the importance of identifying their personal and educational goals.  (NSO) will provide students with the resources they will need to maximize their potential and successfully manage their college experience and encourage further success.  New Student Orientation is a mandatory enrollment step and students need to attend the orientation in its entirety. Students who miss some or all of the orientation will need to reschedule.

Students can register by selecting the New Student Orientation Signup Form link on the top left corner of this page. We do not accommodate sign-ups/registration the day of the session.

The date that you register for is your date. WE DO NOT SEND CONFIRMATIONS. YOUR SIGN-UP IS YOUR CONFIRMATION. PLEASE WRITE DOWN THE DATE/TIME/PLACE OF THE SESSION YOU CHOOSE.

Students must attend a Priority Advisement Workshop (PAW) prior to attending the New Student Orientation

Upcoming NSO Dates:

SATURDAY AUGUST 19th WAS THE LAST IN-PERSON NSO SESSION FOR FALL 2017.  IF YOU DID NOT ATTEND YOUR SCHEDULED SESSION, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE NSO.
