President’s Volunteer Service Award

FACULTY & STAFF
Be recognized for your service in the community by the President of the United States. Presidential recognition sets you apart from your peers. It is a tremendous honor. Even though you may not seek recognition, your example can deliver a powerful message that encourages others to take action.
Hours are measured over a 12-month period (May 13th, 2016- May 12th, 2017) and awards are designated based on cumulative hours. The awards are offered in multiple levels and are designed to recognize each milestone of your service achievement. Levels include bronze, silver and gold.
What do you receive?
Students will receive the official President’s Volunteer Service Award medallion, a personalized certificate of achievement, and a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States. You will receive recognition for the award in the April 2017.
Fill out the President's Volunteer Service Award webform HERE so that we know you would like to pursue this honor. Start tracking your hours on either the Faculty/Staff Time Log. Agencies do not need to be approved by EMCC (this is different from student service learning/volunteering). Completed and projected hours must be communicated via email by March 27th, 2017. These awards will be received in April 2017.
