Through the use of science, technology, engineering, math and physics, the EnviroSTEM Club will help to create awareness of environmental sustainability on campus and, in conjunction with the EMCC Sustainability Team, will help to guide the best sustainable practices.
The EnviroSTEM Club is a collaborative club that promotes environmental sustainability through the use of science, technology, engineering, math and physics to educate the campus and community and create awareness that fosters environmental stewardship.
Membership to the EnviroSTEM Club is open to all registered students at Estrella Mountain Community College who are interested in environmental and STEM related topics including but not limited to water conservation, renewable energies, global warming, species biodiversity and conservation, environmental law/policy, recycling, and green building design and maintenance.
Members shall be considered active club members when they provide their name, student ID, and contact information to the Club Advisors and pay their first club dues.

Leadership Development: public speaking, coordinating meetings, time management, conflict resolution, small group communication, team building, fundraising, etc.
Professional Development: education and outreach events, production of outreach materials, field trips, internships, etc.
Involved in making recommendations to campus leadership about business practices that align with sustainability and environmental goals.
