At Estrella Mountain Community College we know what it means to serve - our office has been serving Arizona veterans for over 10 years.  Our mission is to help you take advantage of the numerous educational opportunities and support services available to you as a veteran.  We are here to help.

At our office we personally assist military students by connecting you to your VA Education Benefits and any support services necessary for your academic, professional and personal success.  EMCC Veteran Services assists military students,and dependents with registering for classes, connecting to scholarship opportunities, exploring degree options, accessing and utilizing VA  Education Benefits, deferring tuition, and any other accommodations within your educational journey.

Our staff will certify Veterans and dependents for the following programs:

  • Post 9/11 GI Bill®(Chapter 33) & Transferability of Educational Benefits (TOE)
  • Montgomery GI Bill®(Chapter 30)
  • Survivors and Dependents Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 35)
  • Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation (Chapter 31)
  • Montgomery GI Bill®Selective Reserve (Chapter 1606)
  • Reserve Education Assistance Program (REAP) (Chapter 1607)
  • Estrella Mountain Veteran Center Spring Break Hours

    The Estrella Mountain Veteran Center, Spring Break hours which starts Monday Mar 16th,will be 8am - 5pm Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday.  Estrella Mountain offers priority enrollment to all currently enrolled students. This enrollment period will start on March 9th 2015. March 16th is open enrollment for all students and future students. We strongly suggest that you utilize this opportunity to enroll in your Summer/Fall classes. The earlier the better if you know you will be attending during Summer/Fall semesters.
