Leadershape

The Maricopa Community Colleges will be participating Leadershape again this year.  This will be an outstanding leadership opportunity for students.  Please click on the link for more information about Leadershape. 

Student Ambassador Program

Student Ambassadors conduct Student Forums, assist with New Student Orientations, recruitment activities, participate in various campus initiatives, and serve as a student representative on campus committees.

Student Public Policy Forum

The Student Public Policy Forum (SPPF) is a co-curricular activity that provides an overview of local, state and national public policy making, citizen influence and involvement. A focus is placed on experiential learning, leadership development, and student engagement in public policy processes. During the course of the program, students will research and prepare to speak on higher education issues (Green sheet issues) specifically related to community colleges.

Maricopa Community Colleges Leadership Retreat

Each fall the Maricopa Community Colleges provides a three day leadership retreat for students at Pine Summit Camp in Prescott, AZ.  The retreat is a district wide program that provides a comprehensive leadership development program for 200 students. The three day retreat is free for EMCC students, and transportation is provided. 

Leadership Workshops

Throughout the year the Student Life & Leadership Office provides various leadership workshops for Estrella Mountain Community College students.  To find out more about these workshops, please stop by the Student Life & Leadership Office.
