The Accounting program at EMCC provides students with the practical and technical skills and training that lead to a rewarding career in business, government, industrial, or public accounting. The program provides instruction covering topics such as tax reporting for payroll; sales and personal property; the fundamental principles and practices of accounting including interpretation of general purpose financial statements; procedures for individuals, partnerships, and corporate tax structures; and accumulation of information and generation of reports to help with financial problem-solving.
