Braxton Howard was born and raised in South Carolina and relocated to Arizona in the fall of 2018. He earned his Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential and an Associate of Science degree from Tri-County Technical College in 2014. He later graduated cum laude from Arizona State University and the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation, earning his Bachelor of Science in 2020, and completed his Master of Health Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2023.
Braxton brings over a decade of healthcare experience and many years of dedicated service with Sun Health. He currently serves as Associate Executive Director, providing leadership and operational oversight across key areas of the organization. His work focuses on advancing quality, strengthening team engagement, and ensuring an exceptional experience for residents and families.
Grounded in both clinical practice and healthcare administration, Braxton is passionate about servant leadership, operational excellence, and building strong, connected communities.
