In Honor of Women In History we would like to introduce you to several phenomenal women in policing from the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area who work for a myriad of police agencies throughout the valley. These women have never allowed their challenges to hinder their journey to success. This symposium, organized by Retired Phoenix Police Department Lieutenant/Professor Cheryl Gipson-Thurman and the Women In History Committee, will allow women from different walks of life to share their life stories with the hope that the hardships they went through before obtaining their life successes will inspire women in today's society.
