Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we have made the decision to cancel our in-person graduation ceremony. However, we have gathered input from 2020 graduates and EMCC employees, and we are pleased to share our Graduation 2020 plans:
- Refunds are automatically being processed for those who paid the $25 fee to participate in the May 8, 2020 in-person ceremony.
- Diplomas for your earned degree(s) and certificate(s) will be mailed to the address in your Student Center by approximately August 1, 2020. All financial obligations to EMCC must be cleared before we can release your degree and/or certificate and transcript. Log in to my.maricopa.edu to update your address and check your student email for updates.
- We are working on additional ways to celebrate our graduates virtually. Once those details are finalized, we’ll share the information with you via email, on our website, and on social media channels.
- NEW! While we continue planning to celebrate our graduates virtually, students may now purchase regalia to be shipped directly to their home: https://buildagrad.com/estrellamountain. The ordering deadline is June 14, 2020.
See the Letter from the EMCC President for more information, or complete our Student Services Request Form to connect with our Student Services teams. Check out this page for updates regarding a 2020 virtual graduation celebration!
We know how hard you've worked to reach your educational goal, and we are proud of you.
Whether you have been working toward a degree or a certificate, the first step in the graduation process is to apply for graduation.
