Graduation is the official process of completing your academic program and receiving your degree or certificate. Commencement is the celebratory ceremony where graduates are recognized for their achievements. You can graduate without attending commencement, and you can participate in commencement even if your degree will be posted later (e.g., summer graduates).

Meet With An Advisor

Students planning to graduate must complete their graduation application with an Academic Advisor. 

*Participation in the commencement ceremony DOES NOT certify graduation or completion of a certificate and/or degree. Certificate and/or degree recipients who participate in the ceremony will receive a diploma cover at the ceremony.
