Maricopa has a proud tradition of offering students the opportunity to celebrate graduation through culturally focused Convocations. These smaller, more intimate events are cultural celebrations that affirm our students and reach out to families and friends in a meaningful way. The following convocations are traditionally hosted by Maricopa Community Colleges each year:
- Veterans Convocation
- LGBTQ+ Convocation
- American Indian Convocation
- Asian Pacific Islander Convocation
- Hispanic Convocation
- African American Convocation
This year, Maricopa Community Colleges wants to recognize this significant milestone in your life by mailing you a congratulatory message that will include a stole* for the first number of graduates who register.
*Our apologies, but there are a limited number of stoles.
This year you are able to purchase your regalia and have it sent right to your doorstep! Visit https://www.buildagrad.com/estrellamountain to order. Orders placed prior to April 25 are guaranteed to arrive in time for the virtual ceremony.
