Commencement Ceremony

You've applied for graduation-- now it's time to celebrate! 

Graduation is the official process of completing your academic program and receiving your degree or certificate. Commencement is the celebratory ceremony where graduates are recognized for their achievements. You can graduate without attending commencement; however, we hope you will still participate. There is only one commencement ceremony each year, which includes fall, spring, and summer graduates. You can participate in commencement even if your degree will be awarded the following semester (example: summer graduates can participate in the commencement ceremony before they complete their final requirements).

Registration Information

After you apply for graduation, you will receive an email to your Maricopa email with instructions on how to register for the commencement ceremony, purchase your regalia, and send e-invitations to your guests! If you need accommodations for the ceremony, please contact  Disability Resources and Services in advance.

Registration Deadline

April 13, 2026: Recommended submission date for your graduation application. Submitting by this date allows time for your application to be processed and to have your name professionally recorded for commencement. This is also the deadline for your name to be added to the commencement program.

May 14, 2026 by noon: Deadline to register for commencement participation

Live-Streaming Ceremony

The commencement ceremony will be live-streamed. You can watch the ceremony at this link on May 15, starting around 9:30 AM. Use this link for sharing with family and friends: go.estrellamountain.edu/GradCeremony2026

Commencement Program

The commencement program is where you can find your name amongst your fellow graduates! At the ceremony, graduates and attendees will receive fans with QR codes to access the digital program. Signs with the QR code will also be displayed for guests
