English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Class start dates are COMING SOON!

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) non-credit classes are designed for English language learners who would like to improve their speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills. You will practice language to communicate information for personal, college, and career readiness. There are multiple class levels offered at EMCC. Each learner’s needs are unique, so this program does not require you to begin at level one. You will need to take the CELSA test in order to be placed in the class that is right for you.
