Welcome to the Division of Mathematics

Mission Statement

The faculty and staff of the mathematics division provide learning opportunities for student success
and enable and encourage students to:

  • develop scientific and mathematical skills and knowledge;
  • work collaboratively and actively participate in their learning;
  • think critically and develop problem solving skills;
  • work within the framework of the nature of science to investigate the natural world;
  • communicate mathematically and scientifically

You can also use specialized software for Computer Science, whiteboards for personal or group study, and attend workshops designed to enhance your STEM knowledge.

Additionally, the STEM Center provides valuable connections to faculty, resources for 4-year STEM college and career planning, and guidance from the STEM Coordinator.
