Aa student of one of EMCC’s Energy programs, you’ll want to be aware of some critical dates - not just for exams and projects but orientations and graduation Here’s what you need to know:

  • When you enroll, you become part of the Energy Institute. The Institute orientation is your opportunity to connect with faculty, staff and other students. You’ll hear about resources just for your program as well as  be able to connect with a variety of EMCC’s business partners for future internships, scholarships or career opportunities.

  • Finally, when you’re ready, you’ll want to keep an eye open for EMCC’s graduation deadlines in order to fully celebrate your big day.

The Energy Institute uses online simulations and resources to aid program students with engineering technology concepts and applications. Links for our online resources and can found below.

  1. Mind-Sight Lab-Volt E-Learning (Use Internet Explorer for best functionality)

  2. Hydraulics and Pneumatics downloadable simulator (you can save the circuits you create, but will not have access to view instrumentation until you load your file on the lab computers).

  3. Electromechanical System Trainer Online Simulator (You must get the access code from your instructor)

  4. Engineering Technology Simulation Videos or placement into higher level English, Reading, and Math courses or equivalent by assessment.
