Virtual Tutoring

The Computer Commons provides one-on-one tutoring for CIS, CSC, and BPC courses. Tutoring is available remotely for students who need assistance. There is currently no in-person tutoring.

Our Services

Located in Estrella Hall North, the Computer Commons Lab provides an open computing environment for students. However, due to COVID-19 we will be able to accommodate a limited number of students throughout the day. Students will need to make appointments to reserve a computer. You must wear a mask while on campus.

Computer Programs

We have more computer programs that are not listed below. Call us to find out if we have a program you need.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Respondus Lockdown Browser
  • Programming/Engineering Software (Eclipse, Visual Studio, etc.)
  • Apple Software (Xcode, etc.)
  • Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

The Computer Commons provides computers with specialized software, ADA accessibilities, and for general use.

Office Equipment for Use

Printers, copy machines, and scanners are available. The printers have limited usage, but all students get 100 credits worth of printing every semester. The copy machine costs 10 cents per page (pennies are not accepted). The scanner is free of charge.
