Community Teaching Garden

Community Teaching Garden

Are you interested in sustainability?  Are you looking for an opportunity to, “think globally, but act locally?”  Consider contributing to EMCC’s Community Teaching Garden located northwest of the Fire Science Storage Facility!  With over 300 square feet of drip-irrigated, raised bed space and an active campus composting initiative, your garden offers experiential outdoor opportunities not found within the walls of a classroom.  Are you interested in maintaining a small plot as an honors project? Are you a student club looking for a rewarding service project? Or perhaps you just want to roll up your sleeves and acquire some Service Learning hours during one of our Fall or Spring Garden Planting Days.

Please feel free to check the garden to enjoy the fresh, free produce!
