Welcome to the Service Learning Program at Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC). Service-learning is a teaching and learning tool that combines course content with organized community service experiences at local nonprofit organizations (agencies).
Service learning is a three-way partnership involving you – the service learning agency/supervisor, the student, and an EMCC faculty member who guides the student through this real-life experience. Our mission is to prepare our students to become active citizens and we ask for your assistance to help us achieve this.
