Ways to Prepare During Your Senior Year

In the months leading to your graduation, there is a lot you can do to explore and prepare for your transition into college. Browse this monthly timeline for your senior year to start planning for what’s next.

August - December

You have questions. We’ve got answers. We can help you explore opportunities and learn about the enrollment process. We also visit many local high schools throughout the academic year.

If you attend high schools within the Tolleson, Agua Fria, Buckeye, Dysart, Saddle Mountain, or Tolleson districts, we have EMCC Embedded Advisors at your high schools! Find out who your contact is!

Participate in any college fairs and workshops hosted by your school or district. It’s a great way to learn about colleges and where you might find your best fit. Make sure you stop by the EMCC table if we’re there. We’d love to say hello! We also host a variety of events for high school seniors and others thinking about college, including Admissions Application Workshops that walk you through the steps of enrollment, Financial Aid workshops that show you different ways you can pay for college, and Senior College Days, where you can visit EMCC and register for classes.

Explore our degree and certificate programs, browse class schedules, take note of our registration dates, tuition payment options, financial aid opportunities, and more!

Every college campus has its own unique personality. Come find out if EMCC is the right school for you and ask our current students why they chose EMCC! Email us at emccoutreach@estrellamountain.edu to schedule your tour today!
