No appointment needed for placement testing. The testing office is located in the Komatke B building (south end of campus).

Placement Testing--Maricopa County Community Colleges use the Accuplacer & Writeplacer tests to determine initial course placement in English, Reading and Mathematics courses. Placement testing is required for new students. For detailed information, please click the Placement Testing link on the left. Nursing Entrance Exam--The HESI A2 exam is required for students applying to the MCCCD Nursing Programs (AAS degree at any Maricopa Community College.) The fee is $40. The HESI A2 exam is a four-hour timed test. To find out more about what is on the Hesi test, please click the Hesi link on the left.
E.S.L. Testing--The CELSA exam is a 45-minute timed exam for English Language Learners. To find out more about the CELSA test, please click the link on the left.
Proctored Tests--Students attending other colleges or universities may request to have a test proctored here with proper protocol and scheduling. The cost for proctored exams is $20 per test. Call 623-935-8860 to schedule a proctored test.
Make-Up Testing--Our office does not do make-up testing for EMCC professors. That is done through the Instructional Testing Center. /academics/instructional-services/instructional-testing-center
GED Testing--EMCC no longer offers GED testing. However, the following local sites do offer GED testing:
