Estrella Mountain Community College will issue a student ID to students who are currently enrolled in credit hour classes and have a government issued identification card for verification. The first student ID will be free of charge.
If a replacement ID is requested from EMCC for any reason, it will cost $5.00 for a replacement. To avoid any further delay of a replacement ID, please contact Student Business Services prior to placing your online request.
An EMCC Student ID is not required to attend class(es) or be on campus but it is strongly encouraged for your reference and when working with Student Service associates throughout campus regarding your student account.
How to Request a Student ID:
1.) Sign into this secured portal: Student ID Photo Upload using your MEID and password
2.) Complete the demographic fields (*) The Student ID will be mailed to the address provided.
3.) Photo Guidelines for all uploads:
a. JPG format only. Files over 25 MB will not be accepted.
b. Make sure your photo does not have the following:
- Filtered image or effects
- Other people, pets, or objects in photo
- Hat or sunglasses
- Clothing that covers any part of your face
- Glare on glasses
- Poor quality image
- Cropped image
c. Make sure your photo has the following:
- Neutral background
- Face the camera straight on
- Eyes open and visible
- Glasses on if normally worn
- Good lighting
- Taken indoors
- Color photo
- Photo from the shoulders up, with space above the head
- Passport-appropriate photo; smiling allowed
4.) Upload your photo.
5.) Upload an image of your government issued ID. Allowable forms of identification are:
- U.S. driver's license
- State ID
- Passport or Passport card
- U.S. visa
6.) Digitally sign and Submit Form.
Student IDs will be printed and mailed out every Wednesday to the address provided on the Request.
Your Student ID will be mailed to the address provided within 2 business days.
A Student ID Card will include the following:
1.) Student’s Name*
2.) Student’s 8 digit campus ID#
3.) Student’s MEID (Maricopa Enterprise ID)
4.) Student’s Email
*Primary name as it was provided to Admissions and Registration during time of initial enrollment. If a name change has occurred proper documentation will need to be provided to Admissions prior to printing a Student ID.
Past due balances on the student account will need to be paid in full before an ID can be issued.
